total of (51) items, to include: (16) Japanese woodblock prints, most on Japan paper, comprising (2) by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1864), (4) small impressions by Hokusai (1760-1849), (5) by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), two of which are later impressions, and (1) possibly by Hiroshige, (2) large reproductions after Hiroshige, and a photogravure facsimile of a Hiroshige print; (some with toning, staining, creasing and/or insect damage), along with (1) unknown print, signed, depicting a crane; (2) Japanese works on paper, comprising a dragon bookmark, ink and color on paper, signed with red stamp and inscribed in ink on verso, and woodblock study for a book titled "AkashI' from the Tale of Genji, ink and color on paper, (minor creasing, toning); (9) ise katagami textile stencils/designs on kozo washi (mulberry) paper, one with silk threads (tears, losses); (7) books, comprising "The Heritage of Hiroshige" by Dora Amsden, San Francisco: Paul Elder & Co., 1912, in English, inscribed with owner's name to front free endpaper; (2) volumes of "Soka Hyakushu" (One Hundred Varieties of Flowers), with color woodblock prints, by Kono Barei, Tokyo: Yamada Unsodo, 1901-1904, in Japanese; "Moyo Bijutsu Binran" album of textile designs, color woodblock prints, by Hironobu Asai, Kyoto: Yamada Naosaburo, 1893, in Japanese, inscribed with owner's name, (pest damage to bottom edge at back); "Biko Zukan" album of designs by Keika Hasegawa, with color woodblock prints, Kyoto: Yamada Naosaburo, 1984, in Japanese, inscribed with owner's name; "Bird and Flower Painting Manual" (Volume 1) by Seitei Watanabe, with color woodblock prints, Tokyo: Okura Magobei, 1890, in Japanese; and album of designs by Korin Furuya, with color woodblock prints, Kyoto: Yamada Unsodo, 1905, in Japanese, (front board detached); group of (6) Western artworks, comprising (2) works on paper by Ada Howe Kent (American, 1858-1942), a pencil study of the Giambologna sculpture "The Abduction of a Sabine Woman", signed "H. Kent, A." lower right, and an Arts & Crafts watercolor illustration on paper, 1892, signed "A. H. Kent" and dated lower left in ink; "The Greeting", 1910, by Helen Hyde (American, 1868-1919), woodblock in colors on Japan paper, pencil signed lower right, signed and dated in image upper left; an ink and watercolor on paper depicting two geishas, unsigned; and (2) American School (20th century) works on paper, floral still lifes, signed "Studley Myers" and dated; (4) photographs, including an albumen print mounted to cardstock, with interior view of the home of Samuel Putnam Avery, inscribed "Souvenir of 4 East 38th. To Miss Ada H. Kent from her old friend S. P. Avery, Nov. 1901", "Point Lobos copied from a Kodachrome Transparency", gelatin silver print, mounted on card, inscribed and pencil signed "Geo. E. Stone" in lower margin; and group of (7) ephemera relating to the artist's schooling under James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1834-1903) et. al, including a partial copy of "The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art" (Vol. 34), London, 1905, a Grolier Club invitation to an "Exhibition of Japanese Prints", April 10th, 1896.

3. Pickup at our gallery. We are located at 485 Montauk Hwy, East Moriches, NY 11940. We are open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm for pickup. If picking up, applicable local sales tax will be added to your invoice. Please contact us before coming so we can retrieve your item(s).
4. If you purchased furniture or very large items, please email us and we can provide you a list of shippers to contact.
5. Naturally, you can also use an outside shipper of your choice.
