Remington model 1889 Grade 1, double hammer shotgun in 12g. The twist steel barrels measure 28'' with a matt rib marked ''Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY USA''. The barrel appears to have been painted black which is now removed. There is a small dent 9-1/2'' from right muzzle. The wood is in fair to good with a solid Remington butt plate. (Do not shoot nitro modern ammunition in this gun.)# 241310
